AFP
is the largest professional fundraising network in the world! And one
of the greatest benefits of AFP membership is the opportunity to
network -- to exchange information with one's peers, to learn from those
who are more experienced, and to help those who are just getting started
in professional fund raising.
AFP membership means
you are part of a professional community that provides the environment
for contacts with leaders of the profession throughout North America and
the world.

Educational Resources Dear Colleagues,
I wanted to personally let you
know about some of the developments
being made on
your behalf by the AFP board
of directors.
Each of the board members
are as concerned as anyone
about the state of the economy
and the overall health of
the local non-profit community.
Given these challenging
times, we offer at no charge
to you, additional opportunities
for networking and education
throughout the year.
This year we will host a total
of 10 live audioconferences.
These conferences provide a
rare opportunity to learn from
and interact with the experts
in fundraising.
During each live session, you
will be able to watch the presentation,
submit questions
and participate in audience
polls. You will be surprised
by how much you can learn in
these 90 minute sessions and
each completed session
earns you 1.5 CFRE hours.
In the past, it has been an AFP member benefit to attend
our web/audioconferences at
no charge.
Effective May 1, we are
pleased to extend that invitation
to the entire non-profit
community!
So, be our guest and bring a
colleague with you to a web/audioconference. We simply ask you to register
in advance, so that we
can accommodate everyone.

these events
I hope to see you soon!
Warm regards,
Ken Thompson,
