Manzano Day School

Associate Director of Development
The Associate Director of Development is a full time, year round position. Primary responsibilities are assisting the Director of Devlopment with all aspects of development and fund-raising activities including annual and capital campaigns, special events, donor recognition and communications.

Coordinate acknowledgement and donor recognition activity, manage Development area of web site, work effectively with volunteers and donors in all facets of the school.

BA and 2 years non-profit experience preferred, excellent attention to detail, highly organized, able to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong computer skills a must and knowledge of Raiser s Edge a plus.

The Grant Plant

Resource Development Officer
Develop responses and inquiries to funding sources and coordinate the development, writing, and submission of grant proposals to third-party entities to support existing and planned program activities of The Grant Plant s clients. Also responsible for reporting data on client program activities funded by third-party public and private sources.

Research and identify public and private grant opportunities; prepare supporting documentation for grant proposals; act as a liaison between The Grant Plant, its clients, and funding sources as needed.

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three years of experience and a proven track record in grant writing and program development. Must be NM-based, have outstanding written and verbal communication skills, be proficient in research, interpreting, and analyzing diverse data, and possess the ability to work collaboratively and independently.
